Broad Run Whole House Renovation

The owners of a Mid-Century Modern home that backs up to the Potomac River in Sterling, VA were ready for an update to better accommodate their family of four. Without expanding the footprint, we were able to completely transform the home into the type of space they’d always wanted, with beautiful views and an easy flow that would work well as their kids grew.

We reoriented the living area, replacing the bedrooms at the rear of the house with an open layout featuring the family room, dining area and kitchen. This allowed us to take full advantage of the views with new floor to ceiling windows. The carport at the front of the house was converted to an enclosed garage that doubles as the family’s home gym. The kids’ bedrooms were moved to the completely remodeled lower level and we added a deck with direct access from the kitchen.
